Yesterday afternoon I asked Nick every 30 minutes or so if he wanted to take a nap. "Nope," was his consistent reply. He actually did really well right up to about 4:00 when he sat down with Patience to watch a t.v. show. I let him sleep about 30 minutes and then I woke him up so as to not ruin the opportunity for an early bedtime. I think this is going to be a slow, painful transition but it will make afternoon preschool easier for everyone come September.
