chicks, hopefully!
Our poor hen has been broody for the past 10 days or so and I've almost felt guilty about stealing her eggs. Don and Waneta visited yesterday and brought down 6 eggs from their hens, who happen to have rooster services. I marked an X on the fertilized eggs so that we could continue to harvest the new eggs. I'm hoping this works because if it doesn't, we're going to have some seriously rotten eggs in 21 days!
